Ontario Winter Games U20 Mixed Doubles Qualifier - winner will advance to the Ontario Winter Games in Orillia - February 19 - 22, 2026
Event Dates:
January 9–11, 2025 (Friday start dependent upon number of teams entered)
Format:
Five open qualifiers (2 North, 3 South). One winner from each qualifier location is guaranteed to advance to the Ontario Winter Games in Orillia, ON, on February 19–22, 2025.  The qualifier site with the most entries will receive a second entry.
Age Eligibility: U20 Mixed Doubles – Under 20 as of June 30, 2025.
Coach Certification Standards
All coaches will be required to complete mandatory training (CAC Safe Sport & Concussion) and have a valid Criminal Record Check on file with the Ontario Curling Council valid for the entire duration of the competition (qualifiers + provincials).
Coaches should create a Sideline Learning account for details on coaching requirements.
Teams are only permitted to register ONE Coach for an event.

Qualifiers
Ontario Winter Games
Teams advancing to OWG must have a Competition Coach Certified Coach.
Coaches must:
- Have a Criminal Record Check on file in Sideline, AND
- Have a completed profile confirming Safe Sport / Rowan’s Law training (Sideline Learning), AND
- Be Certified Competition Coach (minimum)
Team Composition
All teams must:
- Declare their players who will play in the qualifier.
- The same players must advance to the OWGs if successful.  
Due to capacity limits at the Ontario Winter Games (athlete quota), alternate players will not be permitted at OWGs.
